Cities I Want to Visit

What cities do you want to visit?

Sure, my list might be a little basic, but who can resist the charm of these iconic spots? Each of these cities holds a special kind of magic for me, and I’m lowkey convinced I’d be a perfect fit in each one (fingers crossed, right?). So buckle up, because here’s my roundup of the cities I’ve got on my bucket list:

1. New York City, New York

Okay, let’s just address the elephant in the room. Of course, New York City made the list. Who wouldn’t want to visit the Big Apple? For me, it’s all about Broadway. Like, picture this: me, sitting in a plush theater seat, popcorn in hand, watching a mind-blowing performance that’s been the talk of the town. Whether it’s HamiltonWicked, or The Lion King, I know it would be a moment of pure, unadulterated joy. Plus, the thought of strolling through Central Park, grabbing a bagel from a cute little corner café, and living out my Sex and the City dreams just sounds like a whole vibe.

2. Salem, Massachusetts

Next up, we’ve got Salem, Massachusetts. I’m a total history nerd, so stepping foot in the town of the infamous Witch Trials would be an absolute dream come true. I’m here for all the spooky vibes, from witch museums to haunted walking tours, and let’s not forget all the witchy, witchy shops. I just know I’d be feeling all sorts of magical energy walking down those cobblestone streets. Plus, I’ve been told the fall season there is chef’s kiss. 🍂💀

3. New Orleans, Louisiana

Ah, New Orleans! This city has my heart already, and I haven’t even visited yet. Between Mardi Gras, the mouth-watering food (hello, beignets!), and the haunted history, I’m so there. I need to see the parades, hear the jazz spilling into the streets, and maybe even take a little ghost tour or two. If there’s one thing I love, it’s a good mix of party vibes and mystery, and New Orleans seems to have that perfect balance. Plus, it’s the only place where you can wear feathers, beads, and sequins any time of the year and call it “fashion.” 🙌

4. Seattle, Washington

Okay, here’s the thing: everyone tells me I’d fit in perfectly in Seattle, and I’m curious to find out if that’s true! From what I hear, it’s a city full of creative, laid-back folks who love their coffee almost as much as they love their nature. And if there’s one thing I can appreciate, it’s a city that has both vibes and views. The Space Needle? Yes, please. The local coffee shops? I’m already making room in my suitcase for a few extra lattes. And let’s not forget all the art, music, and that lovely Pacific Northwest rain. I’ve got a good feeling about this one.

5. Austin, Texas

Next on the list is Austin, Texas, and let me tell you, I am so ready to experience this city’s legendary music scene. My dream is to see a live Austin City Limits performance (yes, I know it’s on everyone’s bucket list, but it’s on mine for a reason). From what I hear, the live music scene here is unreal, and I want to be front and center, soaking up the tunes. Plus, Austin is known for being quirky and eclectic, and that’s my vibe all the way. Throw in some of that famous Texas BBQ, and I’m basically living my best life.

6. Orlando, Florida

And last but definitely not least: Orlando. Yep, I’m a big kid at heart, and no list of mine would be complete without a stop at Disney World. There’s just something about the magic of the parks that gets me every time. The castles, the characters, the rides—basically, I want to live out my Disney princess fantasy in real life. Plus, Orlando has so much more to offer with Universal Studios and other attractions, so I’d definitely be in full-on theme park mode from sunrise to sunset.

Why These Cities?

Okay, so maybe these cities are the popular picks, but there’s a reason for that, right? They’re all unique, bursting with culture, history, and experiences that make you want to keep coming back for more. Whether I’m catching a Broadway show, exploring a haunted town, or eating my weight in beignets, these places just feel like they have something to offer. Plus, they all promise to add a little extra magic (and a lot of fun) to my life.

So, what about you? Which cities are on your travel bucket list? Let’s swap dream destinations in the comments! I’m always up for discovering new spots to add to my list. ✨
