If you had a free round-trip ticket to anywhere, where would you go?
If I had a hypothetical round-trip ticket, I honestly don’t know if this would be the best time to travel, but I know exactly where I would go. I would take Hector back to Honduras.
As I’ve mentioned before, Hector’s family is from Honduras, and it’s been a few years since he’s been back. He really wants to visit again, although he still needs to renew his passport. His dad recently made a trip to Honduras, and Hector was a little disappointed that he couldn’t go along. Unfortunately, work and other obligations kept him from joining his dad.
I’ve never left the United States before, so the thought of traveling to another country is exciting to me. I would especially love the opportunity to experience Honduras and see where Hector’s family is from. It would mean a lot to him to go back, and I think it would be incredibly special for me to experience that part of his life and family history alongside him.
If I had that round-trip ticket, Honduras would definitely be my destination.
