Mr Sharkie

Share a photo of your pet and tell us one thing that makes them uniquely them.

He’s not my dog, he’s my mom’s dog.

Sharkie looks like he walked straight out of a Dr. Seuss book. It’s his little paws that really do it.

Sharkie is my mom’s little baby, and while he is genuinely adorable, he is also the biggest scaredy-cat I’ve ever met. He’s afraid of the dark, fireworks, the vet, groomers, men, loud noises… honestly, the list goes on.

And his list of things he hates? Also extensive: men, women, small children, other dogs, and pretty much anyone who isn’t my mom.

He’s a very unique dog because he genuinely does not believe he’s a dog. This is basically the canine version of Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino—just an old, grumpy man glaring at everyone who dares to exist near him.

Every time it’s time for a walk, Sharkie is glaring at anyone and anything in his path like they personally offended him. But the second my mom is home? He’s right back to being her sweet little baby.
