There are officially 100 days until I say “I do”—
And in a shocking twist… I’ve done, like, almost nothing.
Okay, not nothing nothing. I have a few key things checked off:
- We have a venue! (Read: my friend’s backyard. Because why not get married somewhere that already has good vibes and probably a dog?)
- We’re doing a pasta bar for dinner because carbs are love, carbs are life.
- And instead of a traditional wedding cake, we’re having cupcakes, because they’re cuter, easier to eat, and way less stress to cut in front of everyone like some awkward edible performance art.
- My mom is making my wedding dress (yes, she’s a queen).
- I just bought the invitations, and they are so cute that it makes up for how late I ordered them. However, I still need to print them out and mail them.
- And I actually know what I want to look like! Hair, makeup, vibes—all locked in.
But beyond that? Not much else is… settled.
I haven’t finalized the guest list.
I haven’t figured out where everyone will sit.
I haven’t even started thinking about the playlist.
(Unless “winging it” counts as a theme.)
Here’s my very plan:
One task a day for the next 90 days.
That leaves 10 extra days for last-minute chaos, deep breaths, and probably crying over centerpieces that no one will notice anyway.
It’s not a traditional wedding—it’s a heart-first, low-key, cozy backyard celebration.
And at the end of the day, I just want to eat pasta, dance in the grass, and marry my person surrounded by people we love (and hopefully twinkle lights).
So no, I haven’t done much.
But it’s starting to come together.
And honestly? I kind of love it this way.
Exciting! 100 days before mine I had a full on bridezilla rage breakdown. But it all will come together. ♥️
