What are some life hacks that you practice?
Okay, aside from the first one, I donāt even know if I would technically call these ālife hacksā. But #lifehack was basically a whole genre of my TikTok experience in 2021, so obviously I saved a million of them, and these are the ones that actually stuck.
Iced Coffee Cubes:Ā This one is genuinely genius. If you have leftover coffee, freeze it in an ice cube tray and then use the coffee cubes in your iced coffee. So when they melt, your coffee doesnāt become sad, watery coffee. Youāre welcome.
The 2-Minute Rule:Ā If something takes less than two minutes to do, just do it immediately. Donāt tell yourself youāll do it later because⦠you probably wonāt. And my other rule is:Ā put it away, donāt put it down.Ā Because apparently putting something ādown for a secondā is how you end up with a pile of random stuff everywhere.
Have a Drop Spot:Ā This has honestly changed my life more than it should have. Pick one spot in your house where you always put your keys, sunglasses, wallet, mask, whatever you need when you leave. And then actually train yourself to use it. When youāre running out the door, you donāt have to do that frantic āWHERE ARE MY KEYS?!ā routine. You just go to the spot. Everything is there. Itās almost suspiciously easy.
Anyway, those are my very official, probably-not-actually-life-hacks. Whatās a life hack you swear by? I need to know because clearly Iām still collecting them.
