If you had to switch lives with a fictional character for a week, who would you choose?
If I could switch lives with any character for a week, I would want to be Supergirl from My Adventures with Superman. Not just any version of Supergirl, but specifically the one from the show: innocent, wholesome, energetic, and still figuring out what it means to be a hero.
The biggest reason I would want to be her is because of all the animals I could meet. Imagine being able to walk up to lions, tigers, bears, and every other animal that is normally considered extremely unsafe, without having to worry about getting mauled. They might be dangerous, but they are also extremely friend-shaped, and I would absolutely want to pet them. I could basically live out my dream of becoming friends with every large predator on Earth without having to worry about becoming their lunch.
Of course, being Supergirl would come with plenty of other perks. I would finally get to fly, which has to be one of the coolest experiences imaginable. No traffic, no airplanes, no waiting around—I could just take off and go wherever I wanted. I would probably spend half the week flying around just because I could.
And then there are the friends. Supergirl gets to hang out with some genuinely great people, and having a group of friends who support you while you save the world sounds pretty amazing.
For one week, I think being Supergirl would be the perfect combination of adventure, friendship, freedom, and safely befriending animals that would normally be very interested in unaliving me.
