long story short, no tattoo yet

Okay, now that Taylor officially owns her music… can I stop pretending to love the 10-minute version of All Too Well?

Like yes, it’s iconic. Yes, it’s emotionally devastating in the best way. Yes, I cried the first 47 times I listened. But also—sometimes it just feels like homework? I’m sorry! but do i want to cry for ten straight minutes every time it comes on shuffle? not really. Sometimes I just want Cruel Summer or Death by a Thousand Cuts or literally any track from Evermore to get the same level of over-the-top worship.

We’ve got a whole emotional universe to explore—why are we still camping out in the same sad red scarf?

Also… low-key thankful I didn’t get that “Taylor’s Version” tattoo I was obsessed with in 2022. I was this close. Not because it would’ve looked bad—but now that she owns everything, it kind of feels like getting a tattoo for a fight that’s already been won. The era was iconic, but we’ve moved on. She’s reclaimed it. Mission accomplished.

So now the hunt begins for a new tattoo idea—something that still says emotional chaos but make it poetic. Current contenders:

  • “There goes the maddest woman this town has ever seen”
  • “Long story short, I survived”
  • Or maybe just “You’re on your own, kid” in delicate script, because… same.

Taking suggestions, but ideally something timeless. You know—less “Swiftie crisis 2021,” more “hauntingly beautiful life mantra I whisper to myself in traffic.”

Anyway. Just thoughts. Love her forever. But maybe it’s time we spread the love across the discography. Long Live, anyone?

What’s your favorite underrated Taylor track that deserves more love?
