Do you enjoy your job?
I have a VERY STRONG hatred for my job as a front desk agent in a hotel. I used to love helping people and making their stay comfortable. But now I hate it. I know customer service is challenging. But at a hotel, guests don’t see me as a human being but as an obstacle to their hotel room. The front desk is the first person they blame whenever something goes wrong during their stay. For instance, if their room needs to be cleaned by housekeeping, they blame us. Or if their credit card is declined at check-in. I have left work too many times, crying.
